Clare Bottle FCILT is CEO of the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) and Vice-Chair of Women in Logistics UK.
As head of UKWA, a leading trade association with 1,000 members, she has pursued an agenda of economic, social and environmental sustainability, as well as driving diversity and inclusion.
Clare is a powerful advocate for solar power on warehouse rooftops, advising Government on the benefits and challenges for the sector.
Under her tenure, last year UKWA successfully launched the first ever independently accredited Warehouse Manager CPC qualification.
She spearheaded ‘2024 The Year of Warehousing,' a national campaign to build awareness and recognition of warehousing as a crucial part of supply chains and a major contributor to the UK economy, undertaking visits to 80 warehouses to mark the 80th anniversary of UKWA.
Winner of The Sir Robert Lawrence Award for outstanding and sustained contribution to the profession of logistics and transport by CILT (UK), Clare has also been recognised for Outstanding Leadership by the national Trade Association Forum (TAF).
Clare holds The University Medal of Honour from The University of Manchester. The highest non-degree award bestowed by the University, which honours individuals who have had a significant impact in their field of work.
